Calling all KS2 singers to be part of an exciting, specially commissioned musical work representing the 6 Indian seasons: fusing Western music with traditional Indian songs through to Bollywood style, with influences from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
For the 30th anniversary of CASMA, a mass choir of KS2 pupils from across the county will come together to collaborate in singing workshops and performances with critically acclaimed Bengali soloist Sohini Alam and her band Khiyo, with composer and arranger Oliver Weeks, and an Indian Dance choreographer. Performances at OPEN, Norwich on 5th, 6th, and 7th February 2018, 7pm.
Singing workshops in November 2017 and January 2018.
Places are limited and will be awarded on a first come basis – max 30 places per school.
