Derby-based Sinfonia Viva, the East Midlands’ only professional orchestra, will be coming to Holt in June 2017 as part of the Cabinet of Curiosity tour. The Orchestra is known in Norfolk for having performed at the Last Night of the Blickling Proms for last five years and has been nominated for a Grammy for their work with Damon Albarn and the Gorillaz album ‘Plastic Beach’ in 2010. They have also recorded with soul music legend Bobby Womack.
The Orchestra will be erecting its state of the art mobile venue in the grounds of Gresham’s Nursery & Pre-Prep School on Sunday 25th & Monday 26th June, having already toured to Mansfield, Scunthorpe, Mablethorpe and Derby.

Flitting birds, jet planes, a kite tied with string – all these and more are imaginatively portrayed in wonderful songs by composer and guitarist Jack Ross, accompanied by Grammy-nominated orchestra Sinfonia Viva.
The show is complemented by visual artist Eleanor Meredith, whose live drawings and stunning animations will be projected on a big screen behind the orchestra.
