Norfolk Music Hub are delighted to partner with Gorleston Pavilion and Bandstand, Enjoy and Peach (Local Cultural Education Partners) and Suffolk Music Hub to offer a coronation celebration like no other. Performances will take place throughout the day with the King’s coronation being screened for all to see.
We are inviting soloists, groups, ensembles and choirs, dance troupes and performance acts aged 25 and under to join us in sunny Gorleston for an all-day musical extravaganza to mark the Kings coronation.

As well as the opportunity for young people to register to perform, we are offering two music-making family experiences!
The day will commence with a Samba celebration March around Pavilion Gardens, followed by performances from local young talent. At 2pm we will come together for a mass commemorative singing initiative, culminating in a performance form Norfolk’s County Symphonic Wind band at 4.15pm.
Join us for the King’s Samba Celebration March around Pavilion Gardens

Bring your family along to join us for a fun filled musical march around Pavilion Gardens, offering families the chance to play a percussion instrument and make musical memories to celebrate the King’s coronation.
Sing for the King
- 2pm-2.30pm
Families from across the eastern region are invited to join us for a sing along of fitting family friendly anthems to celebrate this wonderful occasion. Lyrics will be displayed on a large screen and you will accompanied by a live band. Suitable for all from 0-99 years of age. You do not need any singing experience.
