Quotes or recent highlights

The Stalham Brass Band dates back to 1850 and is the longest established in the East of England. Two of its directors of music have been awarded the MBE for their work with music and young people. The band also holds the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service [group MBE] for its music training for young people.

Students have joined the main band to play at Christmas for Her Majesty The Queen at Sandringham on two occasions. We attend concerts by the top brass bands in the country such as Grimethorpe and Black Dyke as well as joining in master classes by the Leyland Band.
