The Britten Music Course at Gresham’s School in Norfolk is a residential music course for young musicians aged 8-13, which provides first-class music tuition through a range of choral and instrumental workshops culminating with a performance as part of the Holt Festival.
The five-day course provides opportunities for talented children to develop their skills, learn new repertoire and perform at the highest standards and will include:
• Instrumental and choral workshops and concerts
• Opportunities to work with leading professional musicians and singers
• A trip to Suffolk to the Red House, former home of OG Benjamin Britten
• A performance with the Britten Course Choir and Orchestra at the Holt Festival
• Fun competitions and team activities.
Children will sample life in our Prep School boarding houses and take part in a range of fun activities ensuring an action-packed and exciting few days of music-making.
