The Garage

Event Details

This event finished on 08 December 2021

This new choir for ages 16-25 aims to have popular music at its core, with performance opportunities at different stages of the year. While you’re singing and meeting new people, you’ll be learning about your voice, how to care for it, and upping your music skills in a relaxed environment.

Guiding you on this journey will be Emma O’Reilly, an independent singer-songwriter who has toured all over Ireland, the UK, and the US with her original material. She has worked with and directed choirs over many years, performing everywhere from the Royal Albert Hall, to festivals, and more unusual spaces like the Natural History Museusm of Ireland, performing everything from Beethoven’s 9th to Daft Punk’s Discovery album.  As an active vocal coach, Emma is passionate about empowering young people to fostering a deep, positive connection to their voices.

No matter what level you’re at as a singer, you will be most welcome! You can come along for a taster class any time – we’d love to see you.
