The annual High Schools’ Choir Festival brings together secondary schools from across Norfolk in a massed choir!
This year’s theme is The Weird and the Wonderful… and features a variety of styles and genres, from Mozart’s Dies Irae and Purcell’s Cold Song, to Bohemian Rhapsody and The Phantom of the Opera. The finale will be a specially commissioned Halloween arrangement by David A Stowell including Thriller, Ghostbusters, The Monster Mash and much more!
Accompanying the singers will be young musicians from Music Service ensembles including the Norfolk County Symphonic Wind Band and Norfolk County Strings.
The concert will be conducted by The Come and Sing Company.
The schools involved in this concert are: Caister Academy, City of Norwich School – an Ormiston Academy, Flegg High Ormiston Academy, Hethersett Academy, Lynn Grove Academy, Notre Dame High School, Old Buckenham High School & Wymondham College.
