A CPD music and communication session primarily for those working in KS1 exploring the use of signing, props, PECS and objects of reference to support children with SEND within a mainstream or special needs setting.
We will sing and sign songs to inspire and develop the use of music within the daily routine, explore the use of the resonance board, parachute, wowee and other props for music sessions and look at the pedagogy behind their use.
We will also look at how they can be adapted and developed for your own particular setting.
