The National Youth Choir of Great Britain is coming to Norwich for its Spring Concert, which this year is inspired by the theme of ‘Women in Song’. The choir, which performed to critical acclaim at the BBC Proms last August, will sing music by female composers from Imogen Holst to Imogen Heap, and from the UK to Jamaica. Also featured are the ‘Songs of Farewell’ – six must-hear choral masterpieces by ‘Jerusalem’ composer Hubert Parry, written a century ago but still bursting with emotion and intensity.

Tickets are just £5 for under-25s, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to see the UK’s best young choral singers in concert near you!

There will also be a free ‘pop-up performance’ outside The Forum in Norwich at 12pm.

The choir includes star Norwich singer Lucy Thalange, 19, who won Norfolk Young Musician of the Year in 2017.
