Ensembles are an important part of learning to play a musical instrument and are often the most enjoyable and socially rewarding part of the process. The Music Service works towards providing a musical pathway for all its young players for every stage of learning.
The Music Service currently offers the following ensembles at City of Norwich School on Mondays during term time:
- 5.00 – 5.50pm: Norwich Training String Ensemble
- 5.00 – 6.00pm: Norfolk Schools’ Training Wind Band
- 5.15 – 6.00pm: Advanced Theory
- 5.30 – 6.00pm: Norfolk Flute Ensemble
- 6.00 – 7.00pm: Norwich String Ensemble
- 6.10 – 7.20pm: Norfolk Students’ Jazz Orchestra
- 6.15 – 7.15pm: Norfolk Schools’ Wind Band
- 7.10 – 8.15pm: Norfolk County Strings
- 7.25 – 8.45pm: Norfolk County Symphonic Wind Band
- 7.30 – 8.15pm: Norfolk Students’ Training Jazz Band
