This form is for entering Music Examinations on the following Exam Boards:

  • Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) – Instrumental and Music Theory exams
  • Trinity College London – Instrumental exams

Location of exams

Exams will take place at Norwich PDC (Professional Development Centre), 144 Woodside Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR7 9QL.

Dates of exams & Deadlines

For the Spring term, the dates are as follows:

  • Theory exam date: Wednesday 4 March at 5.00pm
  • Practical exam period: Friday 20 March-Wednesday 1 April (please advise of any days that your child cannot attend)

Spring entry is now closed.

If there is a date that you are unable to attend in this timeframe, please email anna.parker@norfolkadvisory.com and we will try our best to accommodate your request. Please note that we cannot guarantee a particular date or time as this is all under the Board’s control.

Once a time slot (and an accompanist, where requested) has been allocated, we will notify you by email, at least 2 weeks prior to the exam session. Exam times are fixed and cannot be altered, except in exceptional circumstances i.e. a hospital appointment; however this is entirely at the discretion of the Exam Board.

How to pay

Invoices will be raised on receipt of a completed entry form. For further details please contact the Music Service Business Support Team on 01603 307710.

Please note that Norfolk Music Service, working in line with the rules and regulations set by the Exam Boards, cannot refund any fees for withdrawn applications (except in cases of illness accompanied by a doctor’s note where candidates may be eligible for a 50% remit for the next session).
