The LSO Academy provides talented brass players aged 14-24 the opportunity to work with LSO Principals over a five-day period. The participants take part in specialist masterclasses, intensive repertoire sessions and workshops. The Academy culminates in a public performance.
The deadline for applications is Wed 6 January 2016 with auditions taking place between 1-3 Feb 2016.
Entry criteria
Please note that to apply for the LSO Academy you must be:
- – aged between 14 and 24 on 15 July 2016
- – in full-time study at a recognised school, college or university
- – a minimum of ABRSM Grade 8 (or an equivalent standard) on the instrument on which you are applying
- – of British nationality, studying in the UK, or resident in the UK for at least three years
