Calling young composers aged 14-18!
The Guildhall School of Music and Drama have a new online course – the Young Composers Course – which opens with a workshop on Wednesday 7 October at 5.30pm.
This is a unique opportunity for young composers to participate in one to one lessons and workshops and hear their own composition performed by staff from Junior Guildhall and Guildhall School in the final workshop.
The course, which will take place over Zoom, is designed for students working towards GCSE or A Level Music and/or students hoping to enhance their composition skills outside of an exam environment. Course tutors include: Paul Whitmarsh and Jeffery Wilson.
Places are limited. Students will be offered a place based on suitability for the course, which will be measured on an appropriate level of knowledge and experience in composition.
The cost of the course is £450.
