Two new members of staff have been appointed at Norfolk Music Service this Summer term. We are looking forward to welcoming them to the team and making the most of their individual skills and expertise.
Tanner Barnes, Area Manager (West & Coastal): I‘m thrilled to join the amazing team at Norfolk Music Service after spending the past year as Participation & Engagement Manager at Norfolk & Norwich Festival, where my team and I focused on the development and delivery of exciting artistic engagement opportunities throughout the County. Last May, my husband and I relocated to Norwich after 7 years in New York, where I worked as a producer and artist, and also earned my Masters of Fine Arts from The New School. Before that, I spent 4 years in San Francisco working on everything from Opera to Shakespeare to Albee! I’m looking forward to working together to explore new ways of reaching young artists in Norfolk, sharing the incredible opportunities we offer and creating unexpected cross-artform opportunities!
Brenda Seymour, Strategic Hub Development Manager: Brenda joins Norfolk Music Hub having been a member of the SeaChange Arts Team for the past three and half years where she was responsible for organisational development. Prior to joining SeaChange, Brenda was the Arts Officer for North Norfolk District Council where she led or partnered a number of diverse arts development projects across all art forms and for the benefit of many different communities. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, either visiting European cities or closer to home in their VW campervan. Brenda says: “I’m really looking forward to joining the Music Hub team to be able to support the creation of amazing opportunities for Norfolk’s children and young people. I’m very excited about working with partners I already know and to begin forging new relationships. See you in August!”
