Having impressed the mentors at the Music for Youth Regional Festival in King’s Lynn in March, we are so excited that young musicians from Norfolk have been selected to perform in the National Festival in Birmingham this July!
Among the performers will be Norfolk Students’ Jazz Orchestra, led by Norfolk Music Service, Springwood High School Concert Band, and Vapour, an original rock band from Norwich, who study at Access Creative College.
The Music For Youth National Festival runs from 3rd – 6th July 2019. Around 10,000 of the UK’s brightest young musicians are selected from Regional Festivals across the UK to come to perform at world-class venues and city-centre locations across Birmingham. The MFY National Festival is open to everyone to come and hear performances from the very best jazz, brass, classical, folk, choral and contemporary young musicians. Find out more >>
