Come along for a free taster session with a vibrant youth string group in North Norfolk!
Holt Training Strings is run by the Music Service and is suitable for violin, viola, cello or double bass players of beginner to Grade 3 standard.
Holt Training Strings rehearses each Wednesday during term time, from 4.30-5.30pm at Fishmongers’ Recital Hall, Britten Building, Gresham’s Senior School.
All young players are welcome to join the ensemble, which plays light and easy pieces to suit beginners, including folk and traditional repertoire.
Players are from beginner to approx. Grade 3 standard and work towards performances throughout the year, such as the Norfolk County Music Festival.
To join the ensemble, parents must complete our registration form before their child attends. Ensemble membership is charged at £50 per term for individuals or £75 per term for family membership, regardless of how many Music Service ensembles attended.
