‘Unsigned’ Gig at LCR UEA Saturday 1 July

Are you or your band ready to take your music performance to the next level?

The Garage are auditioning young musicians aged 14-25 to perform at the ‘Unsigned’ gig on Saturday 1 July 2017.

Not only will you get the opportunity to perform on the prestigious UEA LCR stage but you will also get:

  • Two rehearsals with a professional music artist who will give you advice and guidance on your performance.
  • A session in a recording studio to record one of your tracks.
  • A professional photo shoot.
  • A session with a marketing expert to help you learn how to promote your music.

Please give as much information as you can so that your suitability can be assessed. Once your application has been received and if The Garage thinks you could be suitable for the gig you will be contacted to arrange an audition and talk more about your music.


Youth Technical Team Opportunity at The Garage

Music Performance Stages

The Garage also have an exciting opportunity for young people aged 16-21 years to gain hands on experience of running music performance stages at two events ‘Unsigned’ at the LCR and The Garage/ YNAF Stage at The Royal Norfolk Show.

The Garage are looking to build a small team who will take part in 6 weekly sessions in the lead up to the events, learning about equipment, stage set up, sound, lighting and stage management. The team will work with under the guidance of our professional technician, contributing to the planning and design of the technical aspects, and gain hands on experience at the events helping to run the stages.

This opportunity would suit people who have some interest, experience or training in working backstage and are looking to develop their skills.
