Norfolk County Music Festival 2020 runs from 1 – 28 March and supports amateur musicians and singers on their musical journey.

Norfolk County Music Festival was founded in 1925 to encourage and support music making, singing and teaching throughout the county and beyond. The annual festival in March attracts thousands of music-lovers in a celebration of music-making across all levels, instruments and from singers and players of all ages. The new Recitals Programme brings you a range of inspiring musicians playing in the beautiful setting of the Assembly House, Norwich and other select venues.

Performing in the Festival is part of the Norfolk Music Service Ensembles’ Spring term performance schedule. The ensembles will be performing in multiple categories alongside other groups from across the county. School choirs will also be a major part of the festival once again, taking over St Andrew’s Hall, Norwich for 5 days of singing!

Parents and supporters are warmly encouraged to come along and listen to Festival performances. Entry to each performance is £3.50, or a £5 programme enables free entry to the whole Festival.

The recitals programme can be booked via or in person at St George’s Music Shop, Norwich NR3 1AB, tel: 01603 626414. Book now for £10 early bird tickets (available until 1 February)!
