The refreshed National Plan for Music Education, published in June 2022 recommends all schools have a Music Development Plan in place to show their ongoing commitment to the development of music in their school. Its intended audience is Headteachers, Senior Leadership Teams and School Music Leads.

We have arranged a Webinar led by Dr Elizabeth Stafford on Wednesday 12th July from 3.45pm-5.15pm. to assist you in writing your School Music Development Plan.

In this 1.5 hour webinar you will explore how to create and implement a Music Development Plan for your school or setting. You will consider how to create your big-picture vision, link your plan to important accountability measures, and plan the detail without losing sight of your overarching aims.

This Webinar will take place via Zoom. If you cannot attend the Webinar a copy will be made available form Thursday 13th July to access along with further documentation to support you in writing your own Music Development Plan.
