Give a Gig Week is an initiative to raise funds for Youth Music, a national charity investing in music-making projects for children and young people in challenging circumstances.

If you love music, you already know how life-changing it can be. Last year nearly 89,000 children and young people took part in Youth Music projects which helped them develop musically, personally and socially.

The next Give a Gig Week will take place from 5-14 April 2019.

Give a Gig Week is a great chance to gain exposure for your band or music group as part of a nationwide event. The idea is simple: put on a gig – any size, any genre, anywhere – and raise money to help Youth Music invest in more life-changing music-making for young people nationwide.

Once you have planned your gig, you can register it on the Youth Music website. Youth Music will support you with a Gig Pack, resources and guidance on how to make your gig more inclusive, how best to promote your gig, and how you can raise as much money as possible.

You’ll find loads more information in the Give a Gig Week FAQ, or you can also email Youth Music or call them on 020 7902 1097.
