VOCES 8 Workshops & Performance

Secondary school choirs are being offered an exciting opportunity to sing with British vocal group, VOCES8. Throughout the day, KS3 & KS4 pupils will take part in workshops with professional singers, in preparation for the evening’s performance.

GCSE Set Works Concert with Sinfonia Viva
25th June
Sinfonia Viva‘s 14-piece orchestra will be conducted by Ben Pope and joined by award-winning composer and educator James Redwood, who will introduce each piece and give insight into the music, structure, themes and genres.
Programme to include set works and musical styles on GCSE syllabus. Each audience member will receive an extended programme booklet, written by James, with musical notes outlining how each piece relates to the GCSE syllabus.
This event has been co-produced with Orchestras Live, with support from Arts Council England.
