Norfolk Music Hub is holding free music-making sessions for young people aged 12-16 who are interested in playing in bands, songwriting and meeting other young musicians.
These sessions will provide the opportunity to jam together, learn how to use digital recording equipment and develop songwriting skills in a fun and relaxed environment.
There will also be guidance on how to showcase your work on Songwriter (an online community for young songwriters) and you could also win a performance slot at Latitude Festival or FolkEast.
All instruments and vocalists are welcome, no experience required. If you have your own instrument bring it along but don’t worry if you don’t as plenty will be provided.
The sessions this season will take place at St George’s Theatre from 4pm to 5.30pm on Mondays each fortnight: 29 April, 13 May, 3 June, 17 June, 1 July & 15 July.
