As a county we are extremely proud of our young and talented musicians. During the recent pandemic many Norfolk young people who would normally share their passion for music by attending ensembles that have been unable to meet in person. To extend our current provision Norfolk Music Hub have teamed up with Orchestras Live and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to bring you  Share-Sound 2021.

Share-Sound 2021 is an exciting ensemble initiative open to all young musicians aged 11+ from across Norfolk who are working at or around Grade 6 Level. Whether you are a regular member of the ensembles and orchestras, or you are working in other genres and or wish to play with an orchestra for the first time. Share-Sound is open to all.

Regardless of the instrument you play you will have the opportunity to work alongside members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; led by James Redwood and tutors from Norfolk Music Service along with additional professional guest artists.

Working alongside the artistic team and artists, you will shape, arrange and compose the final performance, which will be showcased at a virtual concert in July 2021. You will be working together as an ensemble and in sub-groups creating the Norfolk Hybrid Orchestra (NHO).

Starting in January, virtual workshops will run on a Monday evening from 6.30pm-8.30pm through Spring and Summer Term. There will be 6 mandatory sessions throughout this period and multiple breakout sessions to rehearse and share your sound.
