Thetford Music Project would like to invite young musicians from all over Norfolk to attend a 3 day music course!

Providing an opportunity to play various types of music of an Easy to Intermediate level and make new friends with children with a similar interest.

They hope to have swimming on the timetable and other activities, as well as playing lots of music! Staff members will be from Thetford Music Project alongside Parent Volunteers and our Musical Director will be Eddie Seales.

Parents, Friends and Relatives are invited to attend an informal concert at 12.00 noon on Saturday.


Attendance options

There is a choice of attending as a residential member or as a daily member.

Residential:

  • You arrive on Thursday 4 August and go home on Saturday 6 August.
  • Bedding is supplied and bedrooms have 1, 2, 3 or 6 beds.
  • Children will be supervised by experienced qualified teachers.

Daily:

  • You arrive each morning and go home in the afternoon / evening.
  • Sleep in your own bed!
  • Option 1: To include lunch on Thursday and Friday (parents collect at 5.30pm)
  • Option 2: To include lunch and dinner on Thursday and Friday (parents to collect before 9pm)

Finish Time: 12.30pm on Saturday 6th (informal concert at 12pm)
Cost:

  • Residential: £140 (£130 for TMP members)
  • Daily (non residential) option 1: £75 (£70 for TMP members)
  • Daily (non residential) option 2: £95 (£75 for TMP members)

Criteria: To play a woodwind, string, brass or percussion instrument.
Again for 2022: A guitar ensemble (bass, acoustic, electric)
Standard: Grade 1 – Grade 4 (guideline only)
Age limit: Minimum age of 9 – maximum age of 17.
