The BBC Concert Orchestra will once again be performing in Great Yarmouth as part of their three-year residency! We are delighted to be able to live stream this children’s concert into your classrooms on the afternoon of Tuesday 6th June.

  • Date: Tuesday 6th June 2023
  • Time: 1.30pm
  • What online platform will be used for this assembly? A private YouTube live stream (you will be sent a link 24 hours before the concert)
  • Who is this assembly suitable for? This assembly is appropriate for primary students across Norfolk
  • How long is the online assembly? The online assembly will last approximately 70 minutes

What will the content of the concert be?

Join the BBC Concert Orchestra on a journey with The Incredible Orchestral Time Machine! Climb aboard, and through the magic of music help us to visit distant lands and shores closer to home, observe duelling dinosaurs, find a hidden Egyptian Princess and perhaps even sing a song for the Incas!

Once registered you will be sent an automated email with a link to two resources that will be performed during the concert. For the children to get the most out of this interactive experience it would be beneficial if you shared this in advance with your pupils and rehearsed the Carnavalito lyrics. Although this is not essential, we’re sure students would enjoy singing along with the BBC Concert Orchestra.
