A higher-level string orchestra playing traditional and contemporary music. The Norfolk County Strings is a vibrant group who produce a robust string sound – a fantastic opportunity to make music with other string players.

Highlights include collaboration with Symphonic Wind Band in 2022 playing at the Royal Norfolk Show for the Royal Salute.
The ensemble was awarded Outstanding at Norfolk County Music Festival 2023. The adjudicator was so impressed with the arrangement of Tarantella tey asked for a copy of the score!
