Jazz
Led by Mrs Evans and Mr Cecconi
Join the jazz masters for Monday night jazz club. Mrs Evans and Mr Cecconi will introduce you to some fabulous pieces, chat about some amazing jazz musicians incorporating some fun theory. Making sure that there is the opportunity to all chat together and share experiences and stories from the last year.
Wind Band (up to grade 6)
Led by Mr Taylor and Miss Drake
Before we get back to making live music again, why not join Anna and I for some wind band chat? As well as listening to some wind band music, we can share our lockdown experiences. Maybe play each other a little tune to show how good we are now (if you’re feeling up to it). There might be a mini-quiz that either we or one of you leads. We should also include a little theory that is helpful for us all. What about a chat about how we want the bands to progress and what music we might like to play next? Or, what cakes we will bring in when it is allowed again? It’s all very exciting and I can’t wait to see you all.
Advanced Musicians (grade 6 plus)
Led by Mr Stowell and Rob Dockray
Grade 1 – Grade 5 Strings
Led by Mrs Stowell and Mrs Peterson
We’ve missed you and before we meet face to face in September come and meet some old and new friends over Zoom! We’ll have quizzes, chats and you could even play us something if you’re feeling brave! Looking forward to seeing you very soon!
