Explorer Days – run by Laboratory Media Education
For ages 10-16
For the inquisitive mind. These challenging team sessions are run at a relaxed pace and begin with an introduction to the topic of the day. Once we have had a thorough demonstration and discussion about the exciting possibilities, we work as a team, establishing roles, deciding on a project, using any of the technology available in our Lab. Teams will need builders, innovators, explorers, testers, critics and thinkers. Ideas are thrown around and tried out until we can forge ahead and create something great by the end of the day. New skills will be learnt, new friends will be made and new paths will be explored.
Places on workshops are only guaranteed once we have confirmed receipt of payment and booking forms.
Norwich workshops are held at our study centre at Carrowbreck house in Hellesdon which has ample parking and easy access.
All of these workshops can be used as a part of an Arts Award qualification and Lab Media are registered with the children’s University so can give you stamps for each activity.
Children will need to bring food and drink for the day (we can refill water bottles) and sun screen if it’s hot as we often go outside for breaks.
