This is the rescheduled date for the Requiem Great Yarmouth concert.

The REQUIEM project comes to a close with an unmissable performance at Great Yarmouth’s iconic Hippodrome theatre on Wednesday 27 June 2018.

Led by Creative Collisions, this multi-partnership project marking the centenary of WW1 is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Norfolk Music Hub and is a member of the IWM Centenary Partnership.

Over 250 students will perform alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra in a unique collaboration of music, artwork, and spoken word performance commemorating the stories of Great Yarmouth’s people during WW1, researched and developed by the young people themselves.

Students’ research for Requiem’s music, writing and artwork will be showcased in a touring exhibition and displayed at Tide & Time Museum, Great Yarmouth, at Easter 2018.

This is a very special experience and tickets are free for this event but must be booked in advance. Due to the large amount of performers involved audience seating is very limited. Each child is limited to 2 invited audience tickets for the evening which can be booked from the Hippodrome. It is expected that this event will sell out.
