Norfolk Music Hub invite you all to join our virtual workshops! We have partnered with Louder Than Life LTD and Lee Gibling for a series of interactive music workshops for young people aged 6-11 and 12-18 years old.
Our Autumn Half Term Workshops will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. Once you have registered, we will then be in touch nearer the time with details on how to log in and take part.
These workshops are all free to young people across Norfolk.
Interactive Music Workshops with Louder Than Life
Over the past 10 years, Louder Than Life has developed a series of leading musical workshops working with around 30,000 children and young people each year. Their World and Technology Music Workshops are interactive, motivational and stimulating session. They are offering an Air Djembe workshop for 6-11 year olds and a Band Lab Live workshop for 12-18 year olds.
Air Djembe (6-11 year olds)
Learn how to play the djembe without a djembe! Learn about the culture of African djembe playing, how it influenced music from other parts of the world, and play using just your hands and your knees (or a cushion).
When: Tuesday 27th October, 10am for 40 minutes.
Band Lab Live (12-18 year olds)
This interactive session will show you the realms of possibility in creating your own music simply using your phone and your imagination. No musical experience is necessary just a sense of fun and enjoyment!
When: Thursday 29th October, 1pm for 40 minutes.
Virtual beatboxing workshops
Come and join Lee Gibling’s fun beatboxing online workshop where you can learn all the skills needed to get started! This is a really easy step-by-step workshop that covers all of the sounds used, and you’ll even learn how some of the more advanced sounds and techniques are done too!
